Fire Altar

First in a series based on the four elements invoked in ritual: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. Each piece is intended to be used as an aid for invocation and memorization. It shows a couple sitting together on an altar, their passion ignites the flaming serpent, the representative of the elemental associated with Fire. They are joined by a Fox, an animal that represents magic, passion, and shapeshifting: Twin flames feed the Kundalini fire in the altar of the South. They call the elemental as one mind toward a common goal. The fox watches, waiting for the signal that the time has arrived. By their will, fire burns at the watchtower.

Piece is marker on poster paper.
