Digital Print/Ladies in Grace

This a digital print from an original collage. The original location is not known at this time. This image measures 11″wide x 14″ long and is professionally framed.

The original is a collage on masonite substrate. As the shapes and colors grew and developed, I began to see a lady floating gracefully across a landscape of nonsense and surreal shapes and objects. It reminded me of some of the ridiculous expectations that women are to fulfill. While there is nothing wrong with the idea of grace, it should not be expected at all times, in my opinion.
