Decorated Square Wooden Bowl

This beautiful wooden bowl was turned on a lathe. The top has gold leaf, which I imagined would give it an antique look. The bowl depression has a basket weave brand, which gives it an interesting texture. The entire bowl was dyed black. Turned square bowls are a specialty of mine. Most turned bowls are completely round.
