Ballpoint Pen

I think this is the perfect pen. It is 5″ long, and has a great balance. It is short enough to fit in most pockets. It is heavy enough to feel good in the hand, and is light enough that you could write with it for hours. The metal parts are the highest quality gold plating. The wooden barrel is blackwood and bloodwood, which I turned on a lathe. The grain of the bloodwood runs at two angles. It has a Parker type ink insert, which can be easily changed. This pen is a useful work of art, and would make a great  gift.
