a tippy vase

This vase stands 11.5 inches high.  Unlike many vases this has two sides, in a somewhat mirrored pattern.  It would be well if this sits in a place that does not have children, pets or uncles who imbibe a little.

While experimenting with shapes and “distortions” immediately after my foray into the MN NICE. I came upon a vase shape with sketches and then execution.  I turned out pretty well.  As i move into some new thoughts in my current work in clay this is a replica, well a replica based on an image in my mind.  This a step into a different direction for me, which as often happens, seems to be a return to a road started and now returning to.
