Silvana Agostoni is a multicultural visual artist working primarily in photography. Her work addresses issues of the body as physical geography, identity and landscape.
She has exhibited internationally in venues such as Houston Center for Photography, Museo del Barrio, New York, Centro de la Imagen, Mexico City, Círculo de Bellas Artes, Madrid, Spain, Centro Fotográfico Alvarez Bravo, Oaxaca, Mexico and Dina Mitrani Gallery, Miami.
She is a recipient of the 2020 Minnesota State Arts Board artist initiative grant in photography and
2019 Sistema Nacional de Creadores fellowship in Mexico and has been selected as resident artist in venues such as the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada and the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
Silvana holds an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts in New York
