When I was younger, my dream career choices fluctuated between musician or naturalist. Through some fluke or perhaps as a result of watching too many Bob Ross shows over summer vacation, I became a full-time painter instead. In the 27 years I’ve been painting, however, my love of music and nature has always been inspirational and integral to the creation of my work.
My work in oil and acrylics oscillates between visually interpreting song through color and composition to capturing the colorful big skies, lakes, woods and prairie lands of my home state of Minnesota.
There's Always Tomorrow
It's Always Cold When You're Away
Feet on the Ground, Head in the Sky
Everything Looks Perfect From Far Away
All Her Dreams Are Unclear
Her Fire Within Was Just Waiting For A Spark
Happy To Be Blue
