The Clay Pit

Hello! I’m Soren (They/Them). I am a queer ceramic artist who lives in Minneapolis. I have always been passionate about working with clay. My love for this art form started in childhood and has continued to grow throughout my life. After completing my BFA in ceramics in 2021, I had the opportunity to work as a studio assistant with various artists and studios in the Twin Cities area. During this time, I came to realize that there was a significant need for an accessible and affordable studio space that could serve the local community.

I am excited to share my knowledge and passion for clay by creating The Clay Pit, which will serve as a hub for creativity, community, and everything related to clay. The Clay Pit will offer access to tools, space, and resources to help people learn and grow as artists. With your support, I am confident that we can make The Clay Pit a home and provide a place where artists of all levels can come together and create something truly extraordinary.
