Come experience the art of youth empowerment at our Casket Arts world headquarters and STEAM makerspace, at Studio 101. This year at Art-a-Whirl, we will be exploring the intersections of art, sustainability, and entrepreneurship with an open house plant sale featuring youth-made art. Tour our Urban Agriculture Lab, home to a two-ton timber-frame microgreen system, designed and built as an internship project in 2018 in partnership with our Casket Arts neighbor and resident timber-frame expert, Clark Bremer. Discover how we integrate design-thinking into our sustainable projects, such as our planter benches, compost bins, and water cisterns in the sculpture garden of Casket Arts. We will have plants available for sale, as well as staff and youth eager to meet your acquaintance as you experience the art of youth empowerment.
