A Participatory Animation Project with a Focus On In-Person Screenings and Events.

The core of the project is a biannual animation anthology that takes the form of 20—90 minute Episodes. Twice a year we put out an Open Call For Submissions giving artists 5 weeks to create and submit an animated short. Episodes are non-curated, meaning that if this is your first time animating, or if you’re a pro, you will be a part of the episode. Over the last 7 years, 19 Episodes have been made and screened in LA, NYC, Toronto, Spain and many more. Hellavision Television Network also has includes workshops, interviews, zines, in-person screening events, and work jams.
