On November 7th, 2-4 pm author Dave Page will provide a talk entitled, “History of the Griggs: Arts and Culture with Fitzgerald, Chauncey Griggs and other Prominent Characters.” His book entitled, “F. Scott Fitzgerald in Minnesota: The Writer and His Friends at Home” will be available for sale and signing.
One of the most culturally significant buildings in St. Paul, the Chauncey Griggs mansion at 476 Summit Avenue has ties to ghosts, the Playboy “Femlin,” the St. Paul Winter Carnival, arts and culture and of course, St. Paul’s literary wunderkind F. Scott Fitzgerald. Come hear Dave Page, author of F. Scott Fitzgerald: The Author and his Friends at Home, bird walk through the home’s history and its ties to important people and events through the 19th and 20th centuries.
