Walking with Julien is an exhibition of photographs that were made by artist and photographer Andy Richter on walks with his young son throughout Northeast Minneapolis over the last 5 years. The gallery show at Artspace Jackson Flats consists of 16 framed works on view from May 1 to 25, 2022.
An opening reception will be on May 7th from 6 to 9pm.
The gallery at Artspace Jackson Flats will be open from 12 to 5pm on weekends (with expanded hours for Art-A-Whirl) and by appointment only on weekdays (please call 612-750-6644 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a viewing).
Additionally, a community facing exhibition of photographs from Walking with Julien will open on May 1st in conjunction with the gallery show at Artspace Jackson Flats. This show will be in storefronts and businesses throughout Northeast Minneapolis (approximately 25 locations–including the East Side Co-op, the Northeast Library, Centro, Indeed, Dreamsong, Dogwood Coffee, NE Wellness, Stanley’s, among others).
The show runs from May 1 to mid-August, 2022, and a map to all works in the show is accessible via the QR code on the individual photographs and here.
