In this one-night absolute beginner workshop, you will learn basic sewing skills. Leave with as many scrunchies as you can make (they don’t all have to be XL) and a good grasp of how to use your sewing machine! This is a great foundational class for those who have never sewn before or want a refresher. A variety of fabrics and all supplies will be provided for you to make one or several scrunchies to keep or give as gifts. Just bring your machine!
You’ll learn new skills including:
-threading the machine and winding the bobbin
-straight stitch and back-tack
-sewing elastic
-how to use a simple sewing pattern
-cutting and pinning techniques
-and more!
