Fittingly, this collection reflects the artist’s intimate bond to nature that started in childhood. Linda grew up in the Midwest amongst the rugged landscape of woodlands, hills and cold water streams. Over time, expressing nature and developing layered meanings associated with the natural world are themes, elements, and content she returns to time and time again. The collection holds both realistic and abstract characteristics, or on occasion both which borders on the imaginary. The collection shows comfort and solace for its inspiration, while the textures, lines, and shapes create an organic vision for the subtleties one can witness on a walk in the woods.
