“The Star of Riches is Shining Upon You” is Forrest Wasko’s latest photo series, slated for publication as a photo book in June of 2024. This project delves into the interplay of chance, fate, loss, and one’s relationship to the world around them. The photographs meander in and out of familiar places and everyday moments, but offer a twist of unexpectedness, humor, and enigma.
Through this exhibit at White Bear Center for the Arts, Wasko invites the viewer on a search for meaning, encouraging them to decipher the myriad signs, symbols, and situations that unfold before them. Join WBCA for the community reception and book release on June 12.
