Surelle Strike: Fragments of Sunlight
The Holland Arts East Gallery is pleased to present Fragments of Sunlight, a solo art exhibit by Surelle Strike. The exhibit runs November 2–30 and can be viewed during Yellowbird Coffee Bar’s hours of operation, Mon-Fri 7am–5pm, Sat-Sun 8am–5pm.
Fragments of Sunlight features a collection of paintings by Surelle Strike, with emphasis on light, color, and the feminine. Surelle’s artwork is often narrative, giving the viewer hints of the story being told, and allowing them to fill in the blanks. She uses symbolism like embroidery, plants and insects to help tell the story in each painting.
