Learn to paint the sumi-e way using ink, watercolor, rice paper, and bamboo brushes. In this class you will learn brushstrokes and techniques while painting vegetables – skills that can be applied to all subjects. Class includes demonstration plus open painting time. Bring a vegetable for subject matter (squash, mushrooms, cucumber, etc – your choice.) Beginning through advanced artists welcome – watercolorists and other artists will also find this useful.
