Studio 114 is thrilled to present the deeply layered and emotionally resonant work of Luke Grothe.
Luke Grothe’s abstract mixed-media work explores the multiverse as both a conceptual and emotional landscape: an infinite network of realities shaped by every choice we make. Through vibrant color, fragmented imagery, movement, and the occasional meme, Luke constructs visual maps of possibility and parallel lives. His work grapples with the tension between longing for what could have been and acceptance of what is.
“Pop culture artifacts emerge like echoes from parallel timelines… symbols of the paths we’ve walked and the ones we left behind.”
In Luke’s work, nostalgia and personal mythology collide with universal themes: regret, hope, love, loss, and the search for wholeness. Each piece is a portal that invites the viewer to reflect on their own multiverse of memory and meaning.
“We are always searching for the version of ourselves that feels whole… but maybe, just maybe, this version of our story is enough.”
