Lens Prose Gallery Studio is excited to be hosting Sanjukta Mitra as our February Guest Artist of the Month. We absolutely fell in love with the emotion, textures, color and light in her work, the spirit they embody. You have to see her work in person to fully appreciate them, on display at the gallery through February.
Sanjukta was born with an artist’s soul, art has been her purpose of life as she has always found joy in expressing herself through visual art, dance and music. Born and raised in India, she has been a self taught artist for most part of her life until very recently in the year 2021, when she quit her corporate job to take up art professionally.

CELESTIAL HEALERS Series
Through this series, I’m striving to capture the essence of spirit animals and go beyond the basic symbolism and realms of reality. I am supremely inspired by the wisdom and power carried through history and various cultures by these animal totems. An artistic metaphorical-juxtaposition of Greek Gods / warriors with spirit animals can be observed in this series.
