Please join us for the reception of Natural Resonance by Kim Heidkamp on Thursday, September 8 from 6 – 8 pm. The work is on view August 11 – September 30, 2022.
Natural Resonance is an exploration of the repetitions in form, structure, and movement shared between species. An imagined evolved future is created through careful study and observation of today’s biodiversity. Heidkamp’s work comes alive through delicate paper sculptures and tells a story of perception and evolution of the world around us.
Kim Heidkamp is a fine artist based in Minneapolis. Her work comes alive through delicate paper sculptures that create a moment of meditative stillness, capturing suspended in time what seems to be a living, moving creature or a growing natural landscape. Finding inspiration in an ever-changing environment, her artwork tells a story of perception and evolution of the world around us.
This reception is in conjunction with the opening reception of Traces by Cameron Zebrun.
