Spring into summer with purple irises and learn new techniques or refresh your sumi-e painting skills with artist Susan Frame. We will use traditional materials: bamboo brushes, Chinese or Japanese ink, rice paper, and watercolor (color optional). Class format will start with a live Zoom meeting covering materials and demonstration, followed by open painting time along with a pre-recorded lesson, and end with Q&A and additional demonstration.
Beginners through advanced artists welcome—watercolorists and other painters will find something to love about this class.
