Opioid Overdose Prevention + Response Training
We look forward to hosting StreetWorks MN for an evening to learn how to better support our neighbors in need. StreetWorks’ training gives information about drugs, with a focus on opioids. It discusses common myths, misinformation, and the damage caused by stigma. The training explores harm reduction and steps to apply harm reduction practices in personal and community settings. Participants will learn how to recognize and reverse an opioid overdose, including hands-on practice with naloxone (only available in person). Lastly, the training gives resources and information about legal rights.
This training is free, walk-ins welcome, and masks required. Registrations are optional and not required. If would like to register you can do so using the link here. We hope you can join us!
