Your materials kit will come with a piece of hand-dyed rainbow felt for the beak, so we can jump right in to stitching without waiting for dyes to dry. But you will also see a demo of how to dye your own rainbow felt pieces using a kitchen-friendly dye technique with Koolaid, so you can make more tie-dyed felt for future projects. Learn a few basic hand embroidery stitches and you can finish your toucan into a pin, magnet, ornament or just a whimsical piece of art.
