Lens Prose Gallery Studio, #133 in the Northrup King Building (NKB), is proud to be hosting Jennifer as our December Guest Artist of the Month.
Her working studio is also in NKB, #442 on the 4th floor. We invite you to come see her beautiful paintings at LPGS during December, paintings that will brighten up any decor with wonderful textures and playful lines.
ARTSIT STATEMENT:
My paintings are layered abstract compositions that explore the ever-changing natural and people-made environments where I work and live. I play with shape, line, color, and texture. I use ink, acrylic, and oil paint on wood panels. Pallet knives, paint scrappers, and sanders are important tools in my work. In one session I put paint on, and in the next I might scrape it away or sand it off.
