“Is it Real?” Exploring the effect of A.I. on Painting
For painter Anna Chambers-Goldberg’s new exhibition “Is it Real? Exploring the effect of A.I. on Painting,” she created pairs of paintings using her own source images and source images generated by Artificial Intelligence software. She invites the viewer to guess which images were A.I. generated, and how the question of “is it real?” makes them feel about the work. Does your feeling towards the subject matter change when you discover the source of the source? Why?
