It’s the desire for perfection that prevents so many people from enjoying the art-making process. During this class, you’ll learn techniques to release yourself from perfectionism. I’ll teach you ways to free yourself from the criticism and control of the ego. This freedom, in turn, will allow you to enter the beautiful state of flow.
At the start of class, I’ll lead a warm-up exercise designed to help liberate you from your inner critic. Once you’re comfortable and loose, you will practice these skills as you work individually on your own drawings.
Materials Provided:
- drawing boards and artist tape
- 2 sheets of 12″x16″ Canson Mi Tienes drawing paper
- 1 sheet of 8″x10″ Sennelier La Carte sanded pastel card
- NuPastel firm pastel sticks
- Rembrandt soft pastels
