The Supercharged Printmakers Gallery presents Dreaming Blue, Burning Red, a collection of works by Kendall Laurent for her debut solo show. Dreaming Blue, Burning Red is an exhibition of oil, acrylic, and mixed media paintings exploring contrast and closeness. Kendall’s paintings utilize saturated, punchy color to deliver a distinct aura and emphasis to the dream-like spaces and subjects depicted. Tranquil blues contrast with luminous reds calling into question the relationship between opposites in color, emotion, and identity.
