In this class you will make your own wooden cutting board from assorted hardwoods. All materials are provided and no prior experience is needed.
Participants will create and layout a design (12″x 18″ maximum size), glue up their components, and learn how to use some of the more common shop tools (like the miter saw, band saw, jointer and planer) to make your own unique cutting board. After a short break where your components will dry – we’ll shape and plane your finished cutting board.
This class is being taught by John Lunde. With 15 years experience as a professional furniture maker and a manager of an architectural woodworking shop, John is excited to share his skills and pass along his knowledge.
