Create+Play With Artist Mary Pow
Come play in the studio with artist Mary Pow on Sunday, February 23, from 1:00–3:30pm. Learn to let go of self-criticism and get in touch with your creative self. Mary will lead the group in an afternoon of drawing and community building at her beautiful art studio, located in the historic Thorp Building in NE Minneapolis. Leave the winter doldrums behind as we play with soft pastels in vibrant hues and draw from cheerful flower arrangements.
First, we’ll get to know each other while we warm-up with a group art exercise. Then, we’ll practice our new skills as we work individually on our own drawings. Following the class, there will be time to socialize and shop.
20 person limit. This event is intended for women. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
