About the Exhibit
Paint it and it will come! In her 2010 featured segment on the Minnesota Public Television series Minnesota Original artist Amy Rice stated that she wanted to begin painting what she wanted her future to look like: a cabin on a lake, a swan paddle boat, and big gardens. Ten years later, Amy’s got her cabin! While it on a creek and not a lake and she’s still looking for that elusive swan paddle boat, she also has the big gardens.
“I have side-by-side art and photos where the art came first and it seems like some sort of alchemy, but it’s really nothing more than goal setting in paint.” – Amy Rice
