Exhibit Opportunities at the MSP International Airport

OVERVIEW OF EXHIBIT OPPORTUNITIES:
The Northeast Minneapolis Arts District (NE-AD) is sponsoring a group of exhibits at the Minneapolis/ St Paul International Airport. All eligible artists may apply to the unjuried Slide Show as well as one of the curated exhibits (Passages OR The Art of Abstraction).

These exhibits will introduce the traveling public to the many artists of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District and the wealth of thought-provoking and memorable visual art being created there. In addition to showcasing artists’ best work, these exhibits will provide information that engages travelers directly with NE-AD artists and arts events.

ELIGIBILITY
To be considered for inclusion, each artist must have a studio, live, work, or have a year-round exhibit location within the boundaries of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District: Mississippi River to the West, 26th Avenue NE to the North, Central Avenue NE to the East, and NE Broadway Street to the South. Both sides of the boundary streets are eligible. See map below
Subject matter must be appropriate for an all-ages, all-cultures airport audience
2D or 3D artwork in all media* (paint, clay, fabric, wood, metal, charcoal, pencil
natural materials, etc)
*No electronics or work that requires electricity in curated exhibits
Note: All eligible artists are invited to apply to both the unjuried slide show and one of the curated exhibits. You must apply to each separately, even if you use the same images for both. You may also choose to submit a different set of images: one set for the slide show and another set for the curated exhibit.

Limiting each artist’s application to just one of the curated exhibits allows for more district artists’ work to be on display. If chosen, an artist will only have one work in a curated exhibit.
