Directory profile: Altered Esthetics
Altered Esthetics is a nonprofit community gallery run by artists, for artists. Our mission is to sustain the role of artists as a voice of society through our exhibits, events, services, workshops, and programs.
In 2014, Altered Eshetics emerged from a long-standing relationship with the Q.arma Building in Northeast Arts District and became a traveling gallery. What birthed from this adventure was Ae Without Walls, a series of monthly pop-up group exhibitions that traveled the Twin Cities. Many successes came out of this venture, including Ae's first film festival and partnerships with The Southern Theater and Eat My Words Bookstore.
Ae Presents in 2015, an innovative and creative schedule of group exhibitions that separately highlight photography, film and video art, painting and sculpture.
