My paintings capture intimate moments invoking introspection. Organic shapes and subjects draw parallels to the biologic nature of our humanity. With unpredictable brushstrokes and subtle transitions, the images dance and quake, echoing life itself. My experience as a nurse is reflected in some of my work. In these images I process emotions and experiences by getting lost in vivid marks and color. Through paint I work through memories in a meditative practice, finding joy in creation and abstraction.
