Creating art to feed your soul! When I step into my studio it is only with the intention to create, to try to get some of the ideas whirling about in my brain out onto canvas. Expressive landscapes, wild blooms, striking northern lights, all of these pour out onto my canvas, usually in bright colors that captivate the imagination. Alcohol ink is my primary medium as it lends itself so well to this intention. I embrace the easy flow of the inks and sometimes it is exactly that which dictates the direction a painting takes, I am open to this and it is this, which makes duplicating a painting nearly impossible. In fact, I have tried multiple times to duplicate the magic in my profile image but have failed and failed and failed again. I smile as I say that because while I may have failed to duplicate that particular painting, I’ve usually managed to create something to be proud of.
