Welcome, dive right in and explore!
I am intrigued by dresses, garments, shoes, objects of life as well as the spaces they inhabit. As a child, I played dress-up…with a trunk of old clothes, needle, thread, fabric and sewing machine or with paper and patterns, colors and scissors. It’s what I do still. It’s what I love…figurative without the figure.
Please visit my INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK, LINKED IN or VIMEO profiles (@pacanney) to see my newest works, a lot has been happening behind closed doors …see a couple of little videos from the studio.
My PACANNEY.COM website PORTFOLIO has lots more work. My website SHOP has my ART NOTE CARDS for sale as well as the ORPHAN ART. (Those are the smaller works, sketches and studies and some older pieces that are all “looking for good homes!”) You can also find the galleries that represent me here in Minneapolis and in Park City, Utah.
It looks like we will be opening up for our regular Second Saturday Open Studios soon. In June 2021 we will have Art in the Garden at the California Bldg….as well as studios open for visitors.
Stay safe and enjoy the art.
Patricia Canney is open on Friday, Saturday & Sunday of Art-A-Whirl weekend.
I will be in my studio from 12 to 4 pm each day of Art-A-Whirl. Private message, text or email me to make an appointment.
Mojo Coffee will be open and I can meet you there and bring you up to my 4th floor studio to see what’s new this past year.
Patricia Canney takes online orders for pickup and shipping through this website.
By appointment only. Please indicate desired pickup times when you check out.
Patricia Canney takes commissions.
Orphan Art is the name I give to pieces looking for a good home, be it a small painting done before committing to a larger work or framed art formerly part of a collection, framed and ready to hang.
