Meg McCormick Photography

Over the course of the pandemic, I hung up my lighting designer spurs and am finishing out my artist life focused on photography/digital art. I am drawn to the sights and landmarks along roadside America, particularly the nostalgic lost and abandoned signs, cars and buildings, as well as the flora of the natural world. Many of my images are from the west and southwest as I born, raised, and lived in the western USA until the summer of 2022, when I relocated to Minneapolis to live near my children and grandchildren.

I use a variety of digital software to play with the textures, color, and lighting of the images I capture. I was honored to be one of two featured artists for an exhibit of my photography/digital art entitled Signs and Wonders: West by Southwest at the Loge Gallery at the Pioneer Memorial Theatre at the University of Utah 1/27/23 through 2/11/23. During 2023 and 2024 I have exhibited my photography at twelve art fairs/festivals in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, and Arizona.
