Leslie Tamble is drawn to encaustic mixed media because it offers an unique art form to explore movement and organic shapes.
She often incorporates found objects, glass, and sewn canvas into wax-based encaustic paintings. Leslie is inspired by her travels and the natural world while bringing a subtle socio-political context to much of her work. Frequent moves from Alabama to California – and several states in between – also add texture and perspective to her art.
