Laura Enninga

My art work is comprised of people, places and things I am curious and inspired by.  Common themes are present in my work; whether it be a background of squares, drips, textures and colored patterns or focused more on meshing faces with bodies that aren’t quite right.  I strive to make work that is silly or odd to invoke a smile or laughter; a conversation piece, if you will.  I also enjoy the play between realism and fantasy.  Often times nature is center stage in my art and I incorporate it many times over if not in all of my pieces.
