Kiki Lueck

All roads lead to now. My roads have included the creative endeavor of mothering four humans to adulthood, classical music training (Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance), Theology study both East and West( Master of Arts in Religion and Theology, ordination as Buddhist Minister and meditation instructor, trained in Nyingma and Kagyu lineages of Vajrayana Buddhism), Chinese Brush training (Laughing Water Studio, Minneapolis), and western visual art training (currently at Minneapolis College). I might say Music led me to Jesus (so many church jobs as a classical musician!), Jesus led me to the Buddha (the contemplative Christian seasons of Advent and Lent were deeply compelling), the Buddha led me to the Brush (Brush and ink meditation calligraphy practice was juicy).

Now is where I make deeper and more robust connection with the Creative, in service of love and healing in myself, in my community and beyond. I love brushes and the media they can push around, and am exploring 3D (sculpture)as well as digital art play. I’m curious to see where I go, and deeply grateful to the arts community of the Twin Cities for welcome and inspiration.
