Sidecar Ceramics is a Minneapolis-based artist in the Q.arma Building of the northeast arts district. Katie Ferguson, the creator and potter behind Sidecar has been making pots since 2010. She started Sidecar Ceramics in 2021 when she made the jump to full-time artist. Katie works primarily with stoneware clay, making functional pots for every home. Inspiration comes from colors and shapes in vintage barware, patterns, and retro wallpaper designs. Sidecar has a new Spring collection inspired by her roots and childhood farm. You’ll notice Holstein cow print patterns on several pieces. You can find Sidecar Ceramics for sale at local shops such; as I like you, Curiosity, North Suburban Center for the Arts, and Tonkadale greenhouse.
