Katie Clymer

I am inspired by nature, and art has become an important vehicle of expression for me. Midwestern skies and its terrain throughout the changing seasons are a continual source of inspiration. My aim is to provide for the viewer a place of peace and respite, a visual and mental break from the busyness & onslaught of technology that we face every day.

By mixing traditional and contemporary styles, my goal is that my body of work inspires viewers to look up and around at the natural world often, and to remember that the natural environment around us is a gift we are given every single day.
