As an emerging artist NEMAA member and part of Supercharged Printmakers, I enjoy creating graphical patterns paired with typography. Lately I find myself drawn to botanicals / nature, and am currently working on a surface design pattern series for fabric application – drawing inspiration from the restorative effects of florals and greenery. Hand-drawn layered organic elements and pops of color are evident in my latest work, perhaps in an effort to combat the doldrums of the long Minnesota winters.
As a full-time Creative Director and Photographer, I enjoy collaborating with clients to provide well-executed creative for any target demographic. With 20 years of industry experience and as lead creative within the advertising agency, no day is the same, and that’s why I love what I do. Generally, my time at work is spent anywhere from concepting new campaigns, copywriting, branding, storyboarding, designing to art directing. I have a passion for both photography and typography, which I’m excited to pursue application into the printmaking medium after hours.
When I’m not in the studio or on a photoshoot, I love to travel, spend time in the outdoors, cook, read, write and adventure or collaborate creatively with my husband Adam.
