Christine Mitzuk

Christine Mitzuk is an award winning, Minnesota artist. Her work explores the fantastic world of imagination.

Creating mainly in the realms of imaginative realism and fantasy art, her work ranges from whimsical to dramatic, and explores the use of color in its many aspects. She releases her imagination primarily through pencil, oil paint, gouache, and digital painting (working in paint programs such as Photoshop and AffinityPhoto). See more at www.ChristineMitzuk.com.

In addition to creating her own artwork, Christine works as a freelance illustrator. Her largest project to date was working as the primary 2D artist for the party game Ultimate Werewolf Extreme by Bezier Games, for which she created the majority of the art. She has also created artwork for various Fantasy Flight Games card games (Star Wars, Arkham Horror, Legend of the Five Rings, A Game of Thrones, Call of Cthulhu, and Lord of the Rings), Monte Cook Games (Old Gods of Appalachia Roleplaying Game, and others), Petersen Games (Glorantha: The Gods War).

Her work has been published in Llewellyn’s 2015 Astrological Calendar, Astrology: The Library of Esoterica, published by Taschen in 2020, and various juried art annuals (Infected by Art volumes 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, and Spectrum 20: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art). And she has been invited to be the Artist Guest of Honor at various science fiction/fantasy conventions.

She is also an instructor at The Atelier Studio Program of Fine Arts in Minneapolis. Classes she teaches include: Color Theory, Gestural Figure Drawing, Costumed Figure Drawing and Painting, and Imaginative Art & Illustration.
