Color is everything.
Vibrant color combinations and unexpected textures are the inspiration behind my hand woven, one of a kind textiles. Weaving with cotton, wool, recycled fabric, or plastic, I create practical and artful textiles, weaving together my passion for color and design.
Color also dictates the design of my one of a kind hand woven tea towels. Add a brightly colored towel to jazz up your kitchen. The towels are woven from sturdy, hard working, thirsty 100% cotton.
Brighten up your winter with a wool hat from my ‘Dread Head’ collection. The hats are hand woven from an assortment of wool fiber and sheep locks with wool dreads at the crown. And what better for Minnesota winters to be fashionable as well as toasty warm!
My favorite coat is screaming orange brushed wool with orange leather trim and fireman’s toggle closures, an unlikely combination. Just like my coat, unconventional materials and surprising color combinations are the inspiration behind my hand woven, recycled plastic handbags and totes. The vivid colors and graphics on the plastic drive the pattern as I design on the loom. Household recycled plastic is transformed and woven into a one of a kind piece.
