Kiln 1: Fusing and Slumping

This an exciting 3-week course that presents an overview of creative possibilities including cutting, blending, and shaping glass in a kiln. We will discuss the nature of glass, how it changes form, how it reacts to changing temperatures, and proper kiln firing schedules for specific purposes. The course will culminate in a simple individual, instructor guided project.

No experience Required

Classes are held Thursdays, 6pm-9pm.
